Roleplay Rules

🎭 Roleplay is Optional

You are never required to roleplay. You can play Minecraft without participating, and you don't need to follow every storyline to enjoy the server.

🤝 Respect Player Agency

You control your own characters and creations. Others may interact with them, but they cannot decide your character's thoughts, feelings, actions, or outcomes without your agreement.

Likewise, you cannot decide those things for anyone else.

🏗️ Respect Established Creations

Treat other players' characters, lore, organizations, and worldbuilding with the same respect as their Minecraft builds.

Expand on what exists. Don't rewrite or invalidate someone else's work without their permission.

👁️ No Metagaming

Keep player knowledge and character knowledge separate.

Characters should only act on information they could reasonably know through roleplay.

🔢 Character Limits

Players may actively portray up to 3 characters total, including their primary Minecraft character.

Your Minecraft account represents your primary character. Additional characters primarily exist through Discord.

🎟️ Accessing Roleplay

Roleplay channels are visible to everyone, but only players with the @Moleplay role may participate.

To receive the role, open an admin-assist ticket.

Roleplay is optional. If you don't want notifications, mute the Roleplay category or individual channels.

✨ Good Faith Roleplay

Roleplay should create opportunities for others to participate, not remove them.

Create situations others can respond to instead of declaring outcomes for them.

⛏️ Minecraft & Roleplay

Not every Minecraft action is roleplay.

Building, mining, exploring, or standing somewhere does not automatically mean your character is present or acting in RP.

📜 Server Rules Come First

All server rules apply during roleplay. Roleplay never overrides moderation decisions, griefing rules, or the No Land Claims policy.
