IV. Borders, Independents, Alliances, and Conduct

Governance

  • A Potentate (ruler/representative of a nation) cannot govern/co-own additonal nations with the expectation of holding multiple votes within the summit , the subseqent nations under multi-governance will be treated as one voting entity within the World Summit

Independents

  • Independents are unaffiliated players.
  • Independents may build anywhere.
  • If borders are unmarked, Independents may build within them.
  • Independents should respect the Nation's theme when building within borders.

Borders

Settlement-Border System

  • Nations may now claim biomes or entire landscapes without the need of erecting border wall or place any signs along the roleplay border by instead erecting a city, town or settlement.
  • The marking of the roleplay borders should make use of natural land features to mark these claims such as rivers , mountains or biome edges with these settlement claims.
  • The size of the claim settlement is meant to directly proportional to the size of the possible claim area around it.
  • These claims must still be approved by the World Summit to discern whether the size of these claims are legitimate or not , along with proof of the settlement in question. This is to prevent a Nation from claiming large parts of the Heartlands without justification
  • These Border & settlements must still be provided and reaffirmed at each World Summit.

  • Additionally If an independent , has a base in an area a nation wishes to expand or lay its borders to with use of settlement-Border System , this is not possible. Always be respectful of other player's spaces. First structure, lays first claim. Since server rules always take precedence.

  • If an independent settles within a nations roleplay territory/border and later wish to found their own nations within that land/ declare independence. please refer to here

Previous System

  • Border coordinates must be provided and reaffirmed at each World Summit.
  • Nations should clearly mark borders through visible builds.

All these claims and borders are purely for roleplay within the sphere of Nations , they are not actual server claims , Server Rules always take precendence

Disputes Involving Independents

  • Issues must be brought before the Court for a server-wide vote.
  • No unilateral action may be taken before a ruling.

Alliances and Transparency

  • Alliances may be formal or informal.
  • Disclosure of alliances is not required.

Allied Embassies

Nations may construct embassies within allied territory. If an alliance is dissolved, the host Nation may reclaim the embassy.

  • No griefing and consensual PvP rules always apply.
  • War may not include property destruction.
  • PvP is limited to involved individuals only.
  • Nations who wish to conduct war must submit their rules of war doc into the recognised Nation's thread along with.
  • War must be agreed upon by the parties involved to be in line with the server rules
  • Wars/Battles must be spectaed by a neutral party who is not engaged on either side of the two combatants
  • If possible , one indiviudal from each side ,record the battle/war for the case of war rule violation

Disputes

  • Border and sovereignty disputes are resolved at the World Summit by vote.

V. Recruitment

Nations may not recruit, solicit, or invite a new player to join their nation within the first 48 hours after that player first joins the server. This gives new players time to settle in, explore the world, meet the community, and decide what interests them without immediately being overwhelmed by recruitment. We want players to experience MoleCraft for themselves before being asked to choose a nation. Additionally, recruitment of any kind is not permitted during new-player tours. Please do not interrupt or accompany a tour for the purpose of advertising a nation, extending an invitation, or encouraging a player to join. Once the 48-hour period has passed, nations are welcome to introduce themselves and recruit normally.

Nations mayHowever, should a New player ask about nation, questions around such can be answered, Nations may not disturb any tours the new player is in, with any forms recruitment that may be regarded as persuasion or coercion. No loopholes may beused.

Additionally any Nation in violation of this clause or any of the above charter rules and regulations, they will subject themselves to the Strike System. If a Nation receives a strike, they lose their vote and voice in the following World Summit Meeting. Should a nation receive three strikes, they will then unrecognised and declared as dead by the World Summit.
